Tall arrangements are elegant and glamourous but low arrangements can have the same impact! The centerpiece I am breaking down today proves my point. This arrangement created an intimate feeling and made the perfect addition to the bride’s moody decor. Each centerpiece featured an array of bountiful blooms which added depth, texture, and fullness. The ratio between light and dark flowers was perfectly imperfect and I think it’s apparent that this contrast added drama! Each centerpiece was displayed on a simple floral print table runner surrounded by gold brushed accents. Take a look at the centerpiece breakdown below, which was designed by Jami of Posies Florals and was featured on Style Me Pretty.
Here’s what you would need in order to recreate this look: A few stems of White Astilbe, White Cloud Spray Roses and Blackberry Malima Scabiosa. In terms of greenery, you’d need Italian Ruscus Greenery and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus to cover the bases. Some Red Hanging Amaranthus and Light Pink Italian Cloony Ranunculus, which has a larger bloom than the standard ranunculus. This arrangement also includes hellebores, I recommend using our Ivory Garden Designer Hellebore. For added texture and color, add a few stems of red Kangaroo Paw. Finish off the look by adding a few stems of Festive Peonies and some Pink Antique Garden Rose (this variety is an alternative for the pinky peach rose).
