Wedding Flowers

flower arrangementAre you wondering what to do with all those flowers at the end of your wedding day? It would be a shame to throw them all away after you all you planning (and spending!) on your wedding day blooms.

Here are some suggestions for what to do with all those wedding day blooms.

  • Dry your flowers and use as potpourri.
  • If you are having a brunch the next morning, use the arrangements as decorations.
  • Some flowers, such as ivy, can be replanted.
  • Have the arrangements delivered to your parents or to the hotel rooms of out-of-town guests. (There is usually a separate delivery fee for this.)
  • Tell your guests to take the centerpieces as they are leaving the wedding.

While you are planning, it is hard to think past your wedding day. But when it comes to your flowers, take a minute to decide what you want to do with them after your ceremony and reception. Making plans now will keep you from having to worry about on the day of your wedding.
