My Favorite stuff from Fiftyflowers.com

As the newest team member at fiftyflowers.com, I will introduce myself by talking about my favorite flowers. My goodness, so many choices and so little time, especially at Fiftyflowers.com which has a such a beautiful selection of flowers in all different colors. Although I think it was love at first sight with the Lavender light purple roses, they remind me of my mother, her favorite color is purple. Because my mother was very loving and nurturing, purple has always represented something soothing and comfortable. In any case, I am sure we can all relate to eventually liking what our mothers’ like. As teenagers we probably all rebelled against anything mother said, but now as a grown woman I appreciate her good taste in color. Besides the lavender rose, the ocean song lavender rose also demonstrates nature’s ability to produce such exquisite gems for us to enjoy, and makes me think of my beautiful mother.

Though I love purple, yellow and red have always been prominent in my life. So when I saw Fiftyflowers.com’s yellow-red bicolor rose petals, I knew I was in the right place. What a great combo, yellow which embodies activism, horizons, and optimism and red implies passion, intensity and excitement, some of my most treasured values. Ok, ok you may say I’m going way out there, but really, colors represent so many things in life. Even though we don’t stop and think about it very often, but all the images, specifically colors, in our surroundings, can have an affect on our psychological and emotional behavior.
