Oh, Flowers! Beauty surrounds me. Every time I get to walk around our farms, I amazed at how much beauty is found in a fragrant garden rose and in a burnt orange mini calla. It is so hard to imagine how so many factors contribute to the exquisiteness of each and one of our flowers, how the rich land aids in their growth and how the hands of skillful farmers care for these blooms. The climate found in Ecuador not only allows the growth of the best quality roses around the world, but fosters the production of one-of-a-kind varieties as well. Growing flowers is not just a business; it is a form of art. 
My personal favorite flower is the Black Magic rose. Its big head with many velvety petals opens delightfully. This red rose is the epithet of romanticism and love, and it reminds me of me and my now husband’s first date. It was his first gift to me, and one of the best he has ever given me. It is a symbol of our love.
