When planning your wedding, it may start to feel like a second job! In addition to buying your dress and sending out invitiation, you will find that you have to schedule quite a few meetings.
Although these meetings are more fun than a business meeting, it can seem a bit overwhelming. The best thing to do is prepare for your vendor meetings. Know ahead of time what they will probably ask you and what you will want to ask your vendors.
When meeting with your florist, here are a few questions they will want to discuss with you.
- How many bridesmaids and groomsmen will there be?
- Who outside the bridal party will receive flowers to wear?
- Will the florist decorate the pew ends or the altar in the church?
- Will flowers be required for the wedding cake?
- Will the florist decorate the reception site, including the head table and other tables?
These questions will also help you have a better idea of what your floral budget will be. This will help you out in your first meeting with your florist.
Make sure you enjoy your wedding planning job. As the bride-to-be you want to be organized and prepared for vendor meetings just like you would any other meetings. This will make the process smoother for you and will keep you from becoming a bridezilla!
