Lavender roseWith Valentine’s Day fast approaching, guys and gals alike are surrounded by the pinks and reds that usually mark the day; colors of romance, of passion, and symbolic of love.  These are not, however; the only color families imbued with feelings of affection and romance.

Soft shades in any tone will create the impression that the floral gift is a heart-felt gesture of love and respect.  These days, obtaining flowers in any shade has been made possible thanks to the development of new dying techniques.  All varieties of peaches  and maroons can be created on a whim, but for Valentine’s Day however, why not venture into the lush land of lavender and show your significant other that you’ve thinking of them.

Given the softness of the color and the regal beauty of the long stemmed rose, a bouquet of lavender roses makes for a stunning expression of admiration that shows traditional charm, mixed with a little floral creativity.
