Oh, how beautiful is it to have your favorite little girls sprinkle fresh rose petals down your wedding aisle Fiftyflowers Wedding Flowersbefore you make your grand entrance into your wedding. It is a dream of any bride. Along with this dream comes the challenge of getting that little girl to make it to complete her task. Many girls, especially toddlers, get nervous and can refuse or run away. The first step to preventing a flower girl from panicking is practice, practice, practice. Also, have mom and dad talk to their little girl days in advance so she clearly understands her job. Added with practice, some easy tips on how lure her down the aisle are:

Include mom or dad in the wedding party at the alter (and if not feasible, make sure Mom or Dad is located somewhere up front so she can see them.) Your flower girl will be more inclined to walk towards her mom or dad which raises the chances of her making it down the aisle by a lot.

Have more than one flower girl. Walking down the aisle holding hands is much more inviting than going alone.

Give the wedding officiant some candy or a surprise to give to her when she makes it. In advance, let her know about her surprise waiting, but be sure to stress not to run.

Worst case scenario, have a relative ready to escort her down the aisle and then slip off to the side when she arrives.
