Still trying to decide what flowers to use in your wedding? Let the season inspire you!
Using seasonal flowers is great because it compliments your wedding date and often saves you money. Most florists offer special discounts on the flowers that are in season.
If you are a spring bride; roses, anemones, daffodils, and lily of the valley are consider exceptional spring wedding flowers. You can also check out these photos of bridal bouquets
perfect for spring. Many brides accent their bouquets and decorations
with greenery. There are also certain types of greenery that work well
in spring. Some examples are as follows-
- Buplerun: A springtime fluorescent greenery with yellow buds
- Galax: A heart-shaped greenery, similar to a lily
- Pitto Sporum: A mixture a green and white leaves
- Seeded Eucalyptus: A seeded greenery that gives a wildflower look
Your wedding season can also inspire your table decorations.
Spring is coming, so why not have your table arrangements reflect that.
March features one of my favorite flowers… Rannunculus. They have a
great scent and a beautiful bloom and they come in a variety of colors.
A beautiful basket arrangement with yellow and orange rannunculus,
lilies and yellow roses could be quite spectacular.
April
For a charming and romantic display this month I have selected
daffodils and sweetpeas arranged in tea cups, and or china bowls. Mix
and match…have fun!
May
For a fun, outdoor and informal wedding why not try this table
arrangement… using a small tree stump with a dish (the bottom part of
a terrocotta pot) sitting on top of the tree stump with a arrangement
using curly willow, tulips, roses, lilies, some trailing ivy.
You
have chosen your wedding date; now let the date inspire you. Your
guests will love the seasonal feel of your wedding and you will love
the money you save shopping in season!
