Fill your wedding day with flowers. You can use flowers for more than just your bridal bouquet. Flowers are a great way to decorate and accentuate your wedding day.

Modern Bride brings us some new and trendy ways to use flowers on your wedding day.

  • Fresh flowers or sugar flowers on your wedding cake.
  • Petal aisle runners. "This is expensive, but if you are looking for something special, this is it," says Lisa Watts, bridal consultant for floral retailer Gerald Stevens.
  • Flowers pinned on your wedding dress, such as on the bustle.
  • A floral chandelier, if you’re having a tent wedding.
  • Garden-influenced decorations. For example, flowers or plants in terra-cotta pots, grapevine wreaths, topiaries and wrought iron instead of brass.

If you want to use some of these flower ideas, consider buying your flowers in bulk. This is a great way to save money and have a great assortment of flowers for decorating.  You will love the money you save and will have a great time finding creative ways to incorporate these blooms into your wedding day decor!
