November 19, 2012

With Thanksgiving just a few days away, I thought I would share a few of my favorite, Easy Centerpiece Ideas, that I have seen floating around Pinterest! FYI, you can follow FiftyFlowers on Pinterest for lots of Fun Holiday Centerpiece Ideas, Wedding Flowers Galore, and Much more! :)

Candles – Candles make great centerpieces because they can double as decoration and lighting, plus there are many easy and fun ways to spruce them up for any Holiday…

Centerpiece Candles

Clockwise from Top Left: Gather different sizes of pillar candles, double stick tape and an assortment of beans and lentils to create these fun festive candles (directions here!), the next two just require candles with larger vases, then they can be filled with shelled nuts, dried corn, cranberries, lentils, fall leaves (just be careful about anything flammable being too close to the flame!) whatever you can imagine! Or, grab a large pillar candle in a glass vase, surround with Indian corn, tie with twine and wha laa! (Click here for directions!)

Wheats, Branches, and More – Bring a bit of the outdoors in with things you can find right in your backyard (or at a craft-store…)

Clockwise from Top Left: Celebrate Fall with gorgeous wheats, grains and grasses, see how here! A few painted pine-cones add to this classic centerpiece from Factory Direct Craft. Cattails or golden grasses in a vase is easy and fun for fall. This Thankful Tree is such a cute idea, see how to create it here!

Floral Pumpkins: These may not be as easy, but I had to include them! Pumpkins are perfect for Thanksgiving, then adding beautiful, fresh flowers, just makes them even better!

Let your creativity run wild! Carve out the inside of a pumpkin for your “vase”, then fill with an assortment of fresh flowers! You could use oasis foam or a vase to hold your flowers in place. Clockwise from Top Left: Better Homes and Gardens, Martha Stewart!, This one was arranged in a vase, then placed in the pumpkin…Better Homes and Gardens, same with this one…One Charming Party, Martha Stewart.
